A multivitamin label lists a dozen nutrients, and you're asked to take every one on trust. So we sent V Balance to Unbox Health, an independent testing platform, to check what's really inside. It came back rated A+, with more DHA in a daily dose than our label promises.

However you eat plants, and whatever your day looks like.

Paneer, dal and shakes cover your protein. V Balance covers the micronutrients a meat-free plate tends to miss: B12, iron, zinc and D3.

  • vb desk

Office, commute, screen, home, with little time in the sun. Vegan D3 and K2 help maintain normal bones, whatever the weather outside.

    Just gone vegan

Every ingredient is plant- or algae-derived, including the D3. It’s tested vegan by an NABL-accredited lab, so it’s one less label to check while you find your feet.

Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, or taking prescription medication. Designed for adults.

The hero ingredients

Algal DHA, with vegan D3 & K2

What the research shows

Built for the gaps in a plant-based diet.

Vegetarian and vegan diets tend to run short on DHA, B12, iron, vitamin D and calcium. Here is what the research shows for each gap, and what V Balance puts in every serving of 2 softgels.

  1. Every day · Vision

    Nutrients for normal vision

DHA is a major structural fat in the retina. 250 mg DHA a day, the amount in V Balance, contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, as do zinc and vitamin B2.

    DHA 250 mg
    Zinc 5.1 mg
    Vitamin B2 0.6 mg

Authorised nutrient claims · per serving of 2 softgels⁵

  2. Week 5 → Month 4 · At our dose

DHA builds up fast in plant-based bodies

With 250 mg algal DHA a day, blood DHA rose versus placebo by 124% in vegans and 59% in lacto-ovo vegetarians within 5 weeks. Over 4 months, vegans taking a similar dose of algal omega-3 raised their omega-3 index while the placebo group’s fell.

Rise in blood DHA vs placebo
    Vegans+124%
    Lacto-ovo vegetarians+59%
    Fish-eaters+24%
Omega-3 index after 4 months, vegans
    Algal omega-3 · 4.8% → 6.0%+1.2 pts
    Placebo · 5.2% → 4.0%−1.2 pts

    250 mg DHA · 5 weeks · 98 adults¹ · ~270 mg algal EPA + DHA · 4 months · 72 vegans²

  3. Every day · B12 & iron

Covering the B12 and iron gap

In a study of 119 young, healthy Indian vegetarians, half had low B12. Vitamin B12, iron and vitamin B2 support normal red blood cell formation, and the vitamin C in V Balance increases iron absorption from plant foods.

    Iron absorption Vitamin C

Indian B12 data: 119 vegetarians³ · authorised nutrient claims⁵

  4. Every day · Bones

Why bones need planning on plants

In a 17-year UK study of about 55,000 people, vegans had a higher risk of fractures than meat eaters. Calcium, vitamin D3, vitamin K2 and zinc help maintain normal bones.

    Calcium 300 mg
    D3 (Vitashine®) 4.5 µg

Why we recommend 3 months
DHA takes 12 weeks or more to build into your cells. The 3-month pack covers a full 12-week routine, and saves you 25%.

These are findings from published studies and authorised nutrient claims, not a promise of individual results. Some studies used algal oils or multinutrient formulas from other suppliers. V Balance is a nutraceutical and is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.

Plastic Collective Certified: 100 grams prevented from entering oceans per product sold

Plastic neutral: collecting plastic equal to our usage.

We’ve funded the collection of 1 tonne (1,000 kg) of plastic from the environment, at least as much as our estimated plastic footprint for 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. The collection is done by the ASASE Foundation in Ghana, a project certified under Verra’s Plastic Waste Reduction Standard, and the credit was retired in our name on the Verra Registry.

The project is also certified for collecting ocean-bound plastic within 50 km of waterways and the sea, and for paying its waste pickers at least 10% above market price.

*1,000 kg of Verra-certified collection divided by our forecast sales of 9,000 products for October 2026 to September 2027 comes to about 111 g per product, rounded down to 100 g. Plastic Collective checks our actual sales every year, and we buy more credits before we pass 10,000 products.

What our customers say

FAQ

Questions, answered.

I'm not fully vegan. Is V Balance still for me?

Yes. It's designed around vegetarian and vegan diets, but anyone who eats mostly plants and wants fish-free nutrition can take it.

Is the vitamin D3 really vegan?

Yes. Our D3 is Vitashine®, a branded vitamin D3 derived from lichen, not lanolin (sheep's wool), which is the source of most D3 supplements.

How should I take V Balance?

Two softgels daily with a meal that includes some healthy fat, to help absorb D3, K2 and DHA.

Will the iron upset my stomach?

The iron is paired with vitamin C, and taking it with food helps minimise stomach sensitivity. If you notice discomfort, speak to your doctor.

Is V Balance only for women?

No. It's built for plant-based diets, for any adult.

Can I take it during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Please consult your healthcare provider before starting any supplement during pregnancy or nursing.

Can children take V Balance?

It's formulated for adults. For children on plant-based diets, please consult a paediatrician.
