The Plant-Based Advantage
Meeting certain nutrient needs on a vegetarian or vegan diet can be challenging.
Some nutrients that may be lower or harder to obtain from plant-based diets include omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins B2, B3, B12, D3 and K2, as well as iron, zinc, calcium, iodine, and selenium (1–5).
V Balance provides 11 essential vitamins and minerals, along with vitamin C (which supports iron absorption from plant foods), delivering ≥30% of the recommended daily intake of these nutrients to help support nutritional balance and address key gaps commonly associated with plant-based diets.
